Figured I'd make a thread a so everyone can consolidate their questions and convos here.

I myself am wondering if I need all my degrees or just one of them as part of the application?

Hi,

I applied for PPC this September back in June 1st, the deadline.

I’m just wondering has anyone heard from the Law Soc yet?

I wasn't sure about this either, so I just included all of mine to be on the safe side. If one of them is a law degree and you were only going to submit one, then that's probably the one I'd go for

I haven't heard anything yet either, booked my iPad a few days before the deadline for those and only got my confirmation the other day, so god only knows what's going on!

I just saw yesterday that iPads were to be booked weeks ago; heard nothing from my training firm or the Law Soc since I sent in my PPC application at the end of May....anyone in the same situation ?

Did you book an iPad? I didn't, because I didn't know. Will have to try ring the Law Soc in the morn to see what I can do now...

Yeah I booked and paid before the due date (only paid because I wanted a different one from the base one you get). How did you get on with the Law Society about it? I'd say if people forget to book you get the base one automatically.

Did anyone who applied late for PPC 2022 manage to book an iPad? I got a TC very last minute and see we need a receipt to collect one next week but there’s no link or area on the website to select one anymore? Any help is appreciated!

Do you mind me asking when you applied for the Hybrid ? I send in mine about 5-6 weeks ago and haven’t heard back yet

I did mine the start of June! Didn’t even get an acknowledgement so I emailed them and they confirmed the received my application and fee and they’ll be sorting through them all in the coming weeks… that was a month ago now! Applications close in less than a month so hopefully we’ll here something before then!

I may be wrong, but when I applied in July, it was still ppc1 and ppc2. Now seems to be semester 1-3

I noticed it alright but didn’t really pay any attention to it! I’m going off the assumption that, if I get my place on the hybrid, I’ll be doing the regular hybrid! Just wait and see I guess

No confirmation. I emailed two weeks ago and they said they had received and would be processing over the coming weeks. I would guess we won’t hear until after the closing date

Yeah, I got mine this week. It's two forms two be filled in by you and your training solicitor which you return. Then they send you a more comprehensive pack closer to the course commencement.

I am still waiting to hear too as I applied in the in the middle of last month.

Can I ask if people’s training firms are paying their Blackhall fees of €10,500 or are they taking it from your salary in increments?

I heard we are allowed bring the iPad into PPC exams. Can anyone confirm if this is true ? Thanks

Anyone got any timetable yet for Hybrid starting on the 14th December or any emails with more info?. Applied today only as passed final FE1 in October sittings and only have information that’s contained in the application pack.
