Powerbanks - are they allowed on a plane yet?

Travelling Regional Flight with Aerlingus. Can we bring our phone powerbanks on the plane - has anyone had any issues?

Thanks in advance! Between all the busses and so on, we will need the powerbank to use sat nav to get home😁

In EI (and most airlines under EASA) power banks are only allowed in the cabin (not permitted to check into hold baggage) so that should an ignition occur they can be extinguished by the crew.

Short answer is Yes, phone power banks are allowed as carry on and on your person aboard Aer Lingus aircraft. As long as they are within the parameters in the above pdf.
