Fish salted on the outside Help

Hi I’m on my holidays in Portugal. I went to the fish market today and bought 2 nice looking fish. He cleaned and filleted it for me and coated the outside in salt. Then he said put it on the grill for 30mins. The problem is we have no oven or grill just a hob and a pan. Does anyone know if I can pan fry it with the salt…

I’m no expert but the salt is usually a coating so that when you cook it in the oven it doesn’t dry out, and of course you don’t eat the salt when it’s done. If you’ve a pan, I’d simply wash off the salt and fry it as normal. Enjoy your holiday.
