Cost of paint

Does anyone have a ballpark figure for a bucket of internal house white paint (10 litres) and also the cost of same for external use? Thanks

Difficult to say without additional information, anywhere from €25 - €120. Are you looking at buying in a wholesaler or woodies? Are you looking at specific brands? (colour trend etc?)

Are you looking at matt non washable paint for ceilings/walls in white/magnoia? that would be at the lower end of the price range. Are you looking at washable paint mixed to a specific colour? that would be closer to the higher end.

For external paint you are looking at typically €40-€60 for 10 litres.

Thanks for the reply. Lower brand, nothing special, pure white for inside and out. Sounds like approx 50 euro/ bucket?

Might be easier to just look at paint shop websites for actual prices? E.g. https://shop.mcdonnellpaints.ie/products/weathershield-pure-brilliant-white.html?filter_set[]=1,548,549,550 - 11 litres of Dulux Weathershield for €54.45. You can take the guessing out of it pretty easily.

bought paint today, dulux eggshell 2.5L nearly fainted when they charged me 50 quid!!

btw - is it a big deal for a shop to change the shade a wee bit? used some today and its not what i want😶
