Cancelling Vodafone account when holder is incapacitated

Hi, I'm new to boards.ie, so hope I'm posting this question on the right place! My mother has a landline account with Vodafone which I need to cancel. Unfortunately she's had a series of mini strokes and isn't in a condition to speak on the helpline to make the cancellation, or authorise me to do so for her. You can't cancel using the online account, and though there is instructions in the case of bereavement, I can't find any advice relevant to our situation. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated!
