Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VRT Exemption - Bringing car back earlier than actual relocation

    Hi All,

I have been unable to obtain a answer online or indeed from the revenue.ie VRT helpline to my query.

Currently living in London and own a car for 1 year.

Plan on moving back to Ireland in 7 months’ time.

If I bring the car back with me when I relocate, I will be 100% exempt from VRT etc.

However, I would like to bring back the car in the next few weeks and park it up back in Ireland.

Will I still be able to avail of the VRT exemption when I actually move back in 7 months’ time???
