Vanderbilt SPC/Texecom alarms - Munster installers

Hi all, 

Just looking for help tracking down installers that would install either a Vanderbilt SPC (preferred) or Texecom system in a prewired house in the Waterford area. 

Specifically looking for those two due to the potential to integrate them into Home Assistant. Hoping to not have to go down the Konnected.io route.

The thread sticky seems outdated so not sure if this type of request is allowed on the topic. I have already tried reaching out to local Vanderbilt distributors as listed on the Vanderbilt site (https://vanderbiltindustries.com/find-an-installer) but have had very limited success.

Any help/pointers is much appreciated.

Would you be willing to diy it. I recently installed an SPC 4320. There is loads of info on this forum about the install

Cheers for the suggestion hesker. Had considered it but for peace of mind was hoping to have it professionally monitored. I am assuming its typically not possible to DIY it and then sign up with somebody, right?

Have a look at the PSA website, you can search by are for local installers who can advise if they install either system.

i had spc installed 5 years back. he is based in cellbridge. not sure if we are allowed to share their details here.. PM me and i can share. not sure if he still does it though

Do you happen to know if it is possible to sort by county on that site or am I looking in the wrong place completely?

Had seen your recommendation in another thread so went looking but without the ability to filter based on county I ended up just googling for local companies. So far not been able to find any that install vanderbilt or texecom, seems to be mainly HKC.

HKC would be the most popular system in Ireland.

I just had a look and its a new website and the option has been replaced which is a joke..

Even if you do find an installer there's a shortage of Vanderbilt panels at the moment. I've been told July/August

Texecom, there's plenty of stock there but finding an installer might be difficult

At this point I would probably be delighted with just delays waiting on parts if I could just find an installer of either 🤣

@theBOFH Did you ever manage to find an installer? We have a Texecom alarm that needs servicing but nobody will touch it :( seems such a shame to have to replace the whole thing...

afraid not @mrbubbles , eventually found one but that went quite and I gave up looking I'm afraid.
