    As above.

It’s not like you do much sleeping during the act.

    Good manners, I suppose.

Some day you might understand if you do things like go on dates and talk to women like they're human beings. Eventually you might talk to a woman and spend time with her and wake up next to her and maybe that might be the woman who would finally finally finally let you call her your girlfriend.

Maybe you'd go to sleep together in the same bed from time to time and sometimes after two glasses of white wine she wouldn't even insist on wearing her Penneys Friends pyjama top with Ross and Chandler's weird eyes judging you. On sultry nights like that there could be kids on the way if you both want them.

You'll most likely forget the whole incel phase after a while.

Like "going to the bathroom/washroom/rest room", god forbid anyone using the word "toilet". Think of the children.

It's because the fine old Anglo-Saxon word you use in the OP "Fvcxing" has been hijacked to be used as a rude, aggressive, lazy curse-word.

In fact, doing that thing is the best fun in the world and it's an awful shame that it should be used as an insult! An insult so offensive that we can't even type it in a boards post. When it just means - well, you know - the act of mating.

To sleep with someone is very intimate, yes. And until very recently you would only sleep with someone if there was, you know, serious stuff at stake.

But you can also say Screwing, or Shagging-Like-Bunnies, if you don't fancy the Sleeping Together thing. Goodness knows there are plenty of options.

But sure fúcking is just another euphemism itself.

saw some comments on twitter about non-irish people thinking that when they heard about irish people 'giving out' they thought it meant 'putting out'; which would put a curious spin on some of the conversations they were earwigging on.

Because we used to live in a kinder, gentler world where civility and discretion mattered to ladies and gentlemen. At a time when a bit of innocence was not considered a bad thing, and blatant crudeness was not idolized.... back when everyone was not obliged to shout their sexual orientation from the rooftops, and when privacy was acceptable... doesn't feel so long ago.... Personally, I miss chivalry too.

Because not everyone wants to use the f word or bad language Its a form of basic politeness ,also on tv programs broadcast before 9pm they are not allowed to use the f word in drama,s or soap opera,s , its just simple politeness, i think american films rated nc17 are allowed to use it 2 or 3 times in a single film. i,m not a prude but i find it annoying when someone on a podcast just uses the f word every 3 minutes, or even worse motherffer . i was suprised to see people on googlebox using fword. or maybe some people don,t want to use bad language in front of children

    I don’t trust people who don’t curse.
