Best of luck with the search. I have been driving a 2002 T5 for the last 14 years, so always have an eye out for others. T5s are rare enough, but I don't think I have seen an AWD, except for an R some years ago.

I don't think there was ever a P2 T5 AWD, but I'm open to be corrected on that. Normally the R and 2.4/2.5T came with AWD

You'll want a 2002 onwards T5, which avoids that crap Magnetti Marelli throttle plaguing cars from 2000 to early 2002 and got the nicer 147mm conrods with short skirt pistons. Better again is the 2005 onwards T5 with the slightly bigger displacement of 2.4, has dual VVT, a slightly different design of head and has a bigger K24 turbo instead of the 16T in the previous 2.3

Check the PCV and buy a good DICE setup. There's one T5 on DD but it's auto if I remember correctly

Can't really help with an 08 onwards D5 as they're very rare. I don't think the P2 S60 ever came with the 2.5 VW diesel so any S60 D5 for sale is a Volvo unit. Guessing you are after the 185bhp variant?

You are actually right there about the T5 and AWD, i'll update my post. I have an abomination of a T5 S60 but instead of spending a lot of money on it and settle i'd rather have the exact car I want, or I might aswell save up and import an R in the spec i want as the VRT isnt too bad!

Yeah theyre extremely rare, never mind a manual. I remember i saw a 2008 2.4 with over 360k on it which i should've jumped on at the time.

They are brilliant cars however they're thirsty thirsty. I only know of two black Rs in Ireland and I have never seen another V70R bar one that frequents Galway.
