Audi A5 Door Rattles

Long story short, recently purchased a 2015 Audi a5 and there are certain road surfaces that reveal this annoying noise in the passenger side back door (Almost like a loose screw just moving around), any ideas of what it could be, or would anyone have any experience of something similar? The awkward thing is, it's quite hard to reproduce unless it's the exact road surface.

Iv been thinking of getting the doors sound dampened to help with the tiny noises here and there, would anyone have any recommendations on where I could get that sort of service done?

Overall need to get this sorted or I will be selling the car again!

    Thanks in advance.

First thing to do is lubricate the door seals.

Last 3 cars I've owned had a rattle from a door.

Culprits have all been some sort of cable or wire.

I would assume an Audi has sufficient damping material in there. BMW has a nice bit, a previous Seat had none.

My advice. Go on Google and YouTube and find how to open the door. Usually 2 torx and 8 or 9 clips. Buy a few of the right clips prior. Open it up and have a look. Any wire needs to be in it's place. The 5 series I have today had a big lump of cable from the window hitting the outer skin.

I'm not a fan of rattles and find nothing more satisfying than rectifying one.

Strip the door card and you will surely find it.

Can be very annoying those odd rattles but it's not rocket science.

I've an A5 coupe for years and have replaced a few window regulators in that time.

Vw and Audi are known for regulator issues so it would be no surprise to see that someone had been at yours to fix and maybe didn't make sure everything was as neat as it should be.

You may have a screw rattling around or remains of broken glass from the cars past or you may have a cable sleeve just tapping against the door metal frame. Could be as simple as removing a screw or debris or adding alittle bit of padding.

Everything is accessible in door so it's sure to be fixed if it's in the door.
