    Hi

Any professionals or home owners can you verify if this is a withn the bounds of reason or not? I ask because on some sites, tilers quote 200-300 a day labour and this job is max 4-5 days. Even with materials it wouldn't come to 3k. Assume the tiler is professional.

We live in an old cottage with uneven walls and wooden floor with give betwen joists in places. Th bathroom is approx 2.1m x 2.3m x 2m h

The stone/lime plaster walls will need to be studded to hold cement board

We are tiling floor and walls. Plumber will install new bath.

We are supplying tiles and grout etc

Tiler will supply plywood floor to support tiles. Will also have to cut door for raised height.

His quote is 3K labour and materials.

    1. Owner to remove all plumbing; Toilet, Shower, Shower tray, Sink unit
    2. Plumber Do first fix pluming ( keeping in mind that he needs to allow for stud and cement board )
    3. Tiler would then fit all walls with steel studs and cement board
    4. Plumber will then need to fit bath
    5. When fitting plywood to floors Tiler leave panel in floor so owner can get at Grey Water
    6. Tiler then start wall and floor tiling
    7. Tiler too allow for fitting waterproof plywood around bath and tile same
    8. Tiler to adjust door to fit:
      1. Cut bathroom door please keep in mind that owner will have a little step because of plywood and tile
    9. Tiling around window where wood shutter is
      1. Fit stud and board, tile, will have to cut shutters ,or might need to replace
    10. Clean up and polish; removing all traces of grout on tiles.
