I was wondering if there’s a place you can go for a health check. My dr has retired last year and the one that’s there is always changing until they find one to actually stay. I can never get a consultation with that dr so I was wondering if there’s a place you can go for a complete and thorough health check?

** sorry if this is the wrong category to post this but I could not find a more appropriate one **

Mater Private had some extensive package advertised before, think it was circa €400. I believe there's discounts from some health insurers.

Its a very good question. I am having a similar experience with my gp practice. I feel I no longer have a gp who knows me or cares. I would like to go for a similar health check and hear feedback on whether it's worth it.

Thanks, I’ll contact the mater private and Vhi for details.

Bit far to travel, don't you think? 🙄

I found often that it was only eg a locum who does a proper check. Now I just ask for the meds I need and care for myself. I have actually never met my current GP. Small offshore island stuff. At urgent need they send the chopper out.
