Not Portugal but I have a strange problem when I go to Germany, I can receive calls, SMS & have data but I cannot make calls. GoMo have no idea why of course. My workaround is to use WhatsApp for calls instead.

Heading to Scotland next week and just wondering if roaming is still part of the package with Gomo since the UK went Brexit.

Yes the UK is still included in the EU/EEA roaming allowance

To be honest, once you step outside the EU , I just buy an Esim, and work off data.

Amazing what can be found if you go looking on GoMo's website - relatively easy to find - https://gomo.ie/wp-content/uploads/GOMO-ROAMING-PRICING-UPDATE-26042023.pdf

Egypt is listed on page 2 of the PDF as a frequent destination, so it should work

Data is €29.99 per GB and calls are €2.99 per minute to receive or make

For data you'd be better off getting a Data eSIM - their own GoMo World esim is currently reduced to €29.99 for 30GB for 30 days

I'm finding UK roaming poor lately, frequently drops to 3G (I'm on 5G plan). It used to always work much better

in Spain and went over my 19gb roaming allowance (somehow?!?!) now I can’t connect to internet. I selected to go ahead and be charged for roaming but it doesn’t connect. Any ideas?

So, to got an option to. accept t&c on the roamingalerts dot com site That is better than us, we get a message from eir saying "Hi, you or your phone is trying to access data roaming. If you are unable to access the internet, please contact our care team at +353 1 4307085 (Bill pay customers) or +353 1 4307066 (Prepay customers)."

The numbers don't work, and it is impossible to get through oon other eir numbers without having an eir mobile number.

Gomo Webchat has limited hours at weekends and just closed at 5pm when it should have been 5:30pm as per their website.

Am with 48 and fed up to the back teeth with the roaming issues. Everytime we go abroad we have to mess with the settings to try and get roaming working. Got a brand new sim before travelling this month, and 48 insisted it would work perfectly. Nerp. Bah.
So, I want to change, but seems like GoMo has it's own roaming problems. Is this thread indicative of problems everyone has, or is it ok for the most part?
