Pelted with eggs Childers Road

Drove along Childers Road yesterday, near Roxboro about 5:45pm and some lads were standing in a car park, pelting the cars stuck in traffic with eggs. I'm not often on that road in Limerick, so don't know if this is a regular thing or a once off. But cleaning eggs off the car was a pain in the a$$.

Was sitting in front of traffic lights up towards Dunnes Stores once and saw rocks flying across the road bouncing off the road and missed my car by inches! Have avoided using this road as much as possible......

Again, not a regular occurrence. Literally thousands of cars travel along this road perfectly safely everyday.

Managed to get all the egg off the car. They hit at least six. A waste of eggs in this economy!
