Ive had this bike 10 years plus and it may have always been like that.
that's fine, it's just that the QR skewer is a little longer than it absolutely needs to be, nothing to worry about.
Yes - normal enough. Two of my bikes are like that.
BTW - you have way too much lube on that chain!
