HKC alarm -- auto set

Could anyone guide me on how I can program my alarm to auto set every night?

Its a HKC with black keys on the keypad and hinged cover

Go into engineer mode, timers menu. event timers.

Set type to what you want to arm, full/part.

Then set time and days.

Thats great thanks, how do I automatically set it to disarm e.g. arm at 22:00 and disarm at 08:00?

I see an option auto-open and auto close -- it asks open start time and open finish time -- what is that asking?

also under autoarm it asks for an interval...what does that mean?

You cannot set the disarming of the system like that, it needs to be done with a code.

That is for unexpected open/close. It can be logged and sent to a monitoring station if monitored.

This is the time all the the zones must be closed for before an auto arm of the system.

OK that makes sense all right.

We have our garage on a separate zone to the house and often forget to part set that area so I was hoping it would auto-set at night and unset in the morning.

If areas are setup then you can have it set at a certain time.
