Hi,
We are considering converting our traditional bungalow to a storey and a half. At present it is 1,500sqft. We looking at adding additional 800-900 sqft to house main bathroom, three bedrooms and circulation space. The roof at present is a hip roof. The plan is to remove the existing roof, Build up the walls and gable end with blockwork and a new A roof. We be interested in hearing from anyone experience of similar projects in the last few years and a typical ball park budget cost to complete. Thanks.

How did you get on with this, it sounds very similar to what I'm hoping to do.
