Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What does everyone do about microfibres/plastics produced from laundry? Has anyone tried the Cora ball, washing machine filter, bags to collect microfibres?

    there's microplastics and there's microplastics

The ball might catch some of the ones you can see but won't do much for the very small ones

WWTP = waste water treatment plant https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0160412020322327 In a word, fibers and microplastics with large particle sizes (0.5–5 mm) were easily separated by primary settling. Polyethene (PE) and small-particle size microplastics (smaller than 0.5 mm) were easily trapped in the activated sludge by bacteria. Therefore, choosing suitable treatment technologies for microplastics removal in WWTPs is quite promising

Don't worry your head about it. It is not possible to remove microplastics from the laundry. You're breathing in those plastics as well all the time while wearing the clothes
