windows and doors for self build wooden shed.

    Hi all,

    Im building a shed and would like to fit two small side windows and a double front door, preferably with windows. Can anyone suggest good sources for same, please?

    Are you looking for new or second hand? Adverts / done deal have plenty of both new and used, if you are building you will have some flexibility on the openings. There is a 4-6 week lead time if you are looking to get stuff custom made at the moment. There are a number of suppliers supplying new glazing units on done deal. Most will require you to collect, but that is pretty easy now with "go-vans".

    Give a hint about location... also the standard... if shed as you say not hard to make doors... windows pick up second hand...

    When I built a shed I visited the Munster joinery factory returns section. Picked up two perfect windows and a matching door. Then built the opes to suit.

    That's the way to do it... many locations sell off the rejects/bad-fit frames at a good price. Just build to size.
