Travelling to Spain in May - Question about Covid restrictions.

Hello there. I'm just inquiring about what I need to do to meets Spain's requirements for entry with regards to Spain's Covid restrictions.

My situation is this:

I'm travelling to Spain in May.

I received the first vaccine in July 2021, which means that my Covid Cert will be out of date (it goes out of date after 9 months I believe).

I didn't receive a booster.

I got covid last month, but I did NOT get a PCR, only an antigen. This disqualifies me from getting a proof of recovery cert, as you need to test positive on a PCR so there will be an actual record of it.

I can't get a booster either, as I believe there is a wait time of 6 months after contracting covid.

So my vaccination cert will be outdated, and I can't get a proof of recovery cert, therefore I think my only option here is to get a PCR within 72 hours of my flight, and to fill out the Spain Travel Health (SpTH) Health Control Form (which I think everyone has to do anyway). Is that right?

Just want to make sure.

You can get the booster 3 months after catching covid, not 6 months. You could have also registered your antigen for a recovery cert

Sorry to bother you, but is a positive antigen test sufficient to get a covid cert? I didn't think that they would accept anything other than a PCR. Can I register an antigen test from home, or do I need to go to a chemist etc?

The Spanish will have changed their covid entry regulations before you travel in May.You need to check the locality where you are staying.Some regions are having restrictions imposed right now-wearing of masks,chcing of certs.

I'm a bit confused, im traveling to Spain in May also, I've had 2 vaccinations plus booster but my booster was Back in November 2021, does that mean it's out of date when Im due to travel, or am I understanding it wrongly?

They dropped all inbound checks. Just need to have your Covid cert incase it’s asked for.

Acceptance of the two-shot vaccination expired on 1st February 2022. At present, there is no time limit if you have had the booster. You are fine for travel!

It’s a little unclear - they’ve just changed the rules and you once 270 days have passed since the last dose it’s no longer valid. Will be fine, Spain didn't require the booster anyway, just 2x shot.

Also they aren't even checking at the airport, just saying to take it out and flashing it in their faces, no one cares anymore...
