Hi there, Does anyone use just a full gas domestic cooker on Lpg? If so, are there any ballpark figures as to usage of a 34kg bottle for a two person household?

if you think you are getting bad return from the bottle you need to know if it is running on the proper jets if it has town gas jets they have a bigger bore and use more gas and blacken the bottoms of the saucepans, they would need exchanging.if the correct jets are fitted the only way it will use too much gas is if you have a leak which you should smell

Mother has a free standing full gas double oven. Full roast every weekend. 4 rings used most nights. Uses it everyday and it works out at 3large bottles(47kg size bottle)a year.

Definitely make sure the cooker jets were changed to bottled gas. Jets are smaller. You will smell the gas if the larger jets as in town gas are still on the cooker.
