Hi guys looking for some advice with this topic, I'm building a house and I'm going down the direct labour route, am I still eligible to apply for this grant instead of going with a contractor?

Has anyone been in the same boat?

    Thanks

Doing the same. You need to get a mortgage approved to 70% plus of the value of the house.

For me I started the house before I had my mortgage approved, had a bit saved. I had the site valued with the blocks up. The bank will supply this for a fee. Just key to get the mortgage approved amount 70% + of the value of the finished house.

The amount is up to 30K , depending on value of house up to 10%, or total of last 4 years tax paid (not USC). Between u and partner. Which ever is less. The value of your house can't be more than 500k either.

    PM me any questions
