Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

Like many I'm trying to cut back on bills as we have let our contracts roll on from year to year paying through the nose compared to new customers. Also wanting to merge my phone broadband and tv altogether.

The one thing we love about our SKY is the ability to record stuff and watch it back whenever. Most other tv providers don't seem to offer this? Any suggestions? thanks.

Is virgin available? Record and season link is pretty standard. New user deals would be a lot more attractive than your rolled over sky bill too.

Have a look at this thread and the forum here.

Basically , ditch all TV providers. Get a satellite box with a hard disk. Plug in your existing Sky Cables which give you all freeview UK channells, add a a separate Saorview aerial to box for Irish channels and then you're good to go.

Has good functionality and record functions.

    No more monthly bills.

Got this and also IPTV service 2 years ago and not looked back and saving over €1200 a year.
