Does she use any Alexa devices? If so it may also be possible with Alexa routines, a Ring doorbell push can trigger them and the action can be to be switch supported devices on (and off, which can be after say a 10 minute delay). I use it with a Hue bulb for this purpose but I know it exposes my TP Link Kasa plugs for actions too. There seems to be an Alexa skill for Tapo devices too so I would expect it should work (Edit: the Amazon listing for that bulb actually indicates it's controllable by Alexa).
