    Safe as in you won't be mugged - yeah. But it's not the best area due to the people the council have moved in to some of the houses. Lots of students live there too so it can be noisy in certain parts. Grand to rent if you need a place I suppose. Not much choice in Sligo town these days.

    Rent for a room tends to be €250-€300 p/m without bills.
