    Anybody want to suggest some builds for me?

    No need to buy the GPU right now, I can wait, but I'm thinking I could start buying the other components now

    Budget 2500 euro

    Can buy now or wait a few months, current PC with 1660ti and AMD 2600x is working fine

    I haven't built a PC before

    PC will be used for gaming

    * Apex Legends - 1080p

    * DCS - 4k

    * MSFS - 4k

    I already have:

    * All peripherals

    * SSD - 1 TB M.2 for use as boot drive

    * two monitors

    * 43" 4k 60hz for DCS and MSFS

    * 27" 1080 144hz for Apex

    preferences:

    AMD for CPU

    Nvidia for GPU (shadowplay)

    thanks K.O

    I Don't see a power supply in there, can you suggest one?

    I think I should look for another case, 35 euro to deliver seems a bit steep

    105 total for the case seems reasonable to me; it has 2x USB + 1x USB-C while something NZXT H510, be quiet 500DX, Corsair 4000D Airflow only have 1x USB + 1x USB-C for the same price.

    For PSU, any Corsair RM/RMx 750W will give you peace of mind with 10 years warranty. Seasonic Focus GX & NZXT C-series would also have 10yr.

    why choose 5800x over a 5600x?

    5600x is cheaper to buy and uses less power, pretty much same performance, or am i missing something

    I have already ordered all this from amazon.de and also a PSU

    the power usage of the 5800x might bother me

    then again Im not sure what I'm talking about just hastily reviewing stuff after having already ordered

    They have the same performance in games today but you have the budget for an 8-core; I'd recommend the upgrade for long-term.

    Power usage is higher but still below 180W. You could set it to ECO mode (65W) in BIOS if it truly bothers you.

    i need a new CPU cooler, can someone recomend one to fit this build?

    currently have :

    • CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer A35 A-RGB CPU Cooler (€42.99 @ Amazon Deutschland)

    the CPU cooling fan started making a ticking noises and sometimes stops spinning, CPU overheats and PC shuts down

    If it's just the fan failing, you could try replacing with another fan (assuming it can be removed from the fan shroud easily enough), especially if you have a spare fan to try it

    You could also get a new matching replacement fan though I presume it's still under warranty.

    You could probably cable-tie a fan to it somehow as I'm guessing you can't just replace the fan in the shroud.

    Alternatively right now these say they would arrive on the 24th. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C4JJRJFQ?tag=pcp0f-21

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0D942JKJW Though they are cheaper from Amazon Germany but say they wouldn't get here for more like 2 weeks.

    Depending where you are you might be able to get to a local shop with something usable though finding anything good at a not horrific price is probably tough.
