Is there a grant to repair old farm buildings?

The slate roof and windows need to be repaired.

Is it an occupied farmhouse? And, if so, is it occupied by an elderly person?

Sorry for dragging up an old thread but I've a query on this scheme if anyone knows or has availed of it.

There's an old dwelling house that has been used to house animals for the last 50 years in need of repair - the house is approximately 150 years old - does that qualify? I know if it was never used to house animals it definitely wouldn't but the fact that it has been unoccupied for some time now and is an important housing area for the farm then I'm hoping it will!

Is it a protected or listed building? If it is then I think there is a grant of approximately 40 k available.

Neither afaik but I think I can still apply for the scheme but unlikely to get it based on what I've read up.
