Cattle delivered 2 weeks ago, some are dirty some are not.

They're in the slatted shed for another week.

How do I clean them before putting them to grass?

You don't, it will fall off naturally with new hair growth at grass

Animals coat naturally this time of year. They start to lose their longer haired winter coat and have a shorter haired summer coat. It's amazing how fast the costs shed when cattle go out.

After a few weeks out they will be a clean as a whistle. Are they fit for the factory as they should not be penalizing you for clipping. Well at least I hope they wouldn't be. That was another scam to screw the normal farmer for winter finishing.
