How to clean bullocks after winter?

Cattle delivered 2 weeks ago, some are dirty some are not. They're in the slatted shed for another week. How do I clean them before putting them to grass?

Animals coat naturally this time of year. They start to lose their longer haired winter coat and have a shorter haired summer coat. It's amazing how fast the costs shed when cattle go out.

After a few weeks out they will be a clean as a whistle. Are they fit for the factory as they should not be penalizing you for clipping. Well at least I hope they wouldn't be. That was another scam to screw the normal farmer for winter finishing.
