Not her, she doesn’t have the “dumbass on purpose” quality: http://voicedepartment.ie/irish-voice-over-artists/female/887/orlaith-rafter

Opposite of annoying actually, she’s quite attractive, both aurally and physically!

I've heard two 'hard to listen to' voices on rte1 late news (after midnight if memory serves) , one male, one female. No idea of either name but I've also heard the male on the late euronews bulletins, he has a really flat monotonous voice. Does anyone know their names?

The woman doing the ads for M&S food being sold in Applegreen is my new "most annoying voice". I think she might also be doing the My Milkman ones though my ears have been spared those for a while. She has an incredibly obnoxious dortspeak accent (pronouncing go as goo, for example) and she is really really cheery about it all. Think of a yummy mummy that you'd duck around a corner to avoid and you've got the idea. I usually don't bother to fast-forward through podcast ads but as soon as I hear her, I can't get to my phone fast enough. I had never heard her before this year and I hope to god more advertisers don't hire her. She is awful.

I find there are a number of presenters on Today fm that i have to switch off from soon as I hear them talk, Paula McSweeney with her goooooooood luck craic when promoting the cash machine and cant listen to Alison Curtis anymore, my ears bleed. Also that guy who is in for Ray Foley this week, dont know his name. Ray Foleys air horn is an annoying voice too. I dont know why I listen to Today fm now that i think of it.

Mark Hogan, Today FM traffic reporter. Speaks with an amused tone of voice as if he's about to break into uncontrollable laughter. He must derive sadistic pleasure from motorists being stuck in traffic jams.

Not a voice but Cuhiddy on Newstalk munching on one of his food slots. Nearly always seem to have crunchy food so we can have the pleasure of hearing him munch.

    Straight to the off button.

Sounds a bit like she's doing a "herp de derp" type voice? Like she's got too much saliva in her mouth? She does my head in.

There's a bloke who does a load of radio ads who puts on a weird voice like an Irish version of how American men spoke in movies in the 1940's, it's the most unnatural voice I've ever heard and it's been on a number of ads over the last few years, one of them was a crane hire ad another was a cer parts company I think, grates on me like little else can.
