60 hz v 120hz

I ordered a LG 48 inch OLED ,hasn't arrived yet and probably won't for another week, thing is , while it's an OLED 4K , it's only 60 HZ , was told today that the 60 hz is really holding the performance potential of OLED back and that you won't get full benefit of OLED without 120hz ? Just to add, no gaming requirement…
