    Hi folks

If I'm going to a game on my own I would normally use public transport

Tomorrow I'm bringing a lad I work with who won't walk too far

What are best options for parking close to the stadium

    Any advice much appreciated

Too late for you now but for future reference - there's a church of Ireland that do paid parking near the RDS. It's on the corner of Anglesea Rd and Simmonscourt Rd. I think the far end of Herbert Park and a few other nearby roads have free on street parking on Saturday and Sundays.
