Statement of liability - question

Hopefully someone can help me out.

I went on to the revenue site to check if i could fine a statement of liability.

When I reviewed the preliminary result for both 2020 and 2021, it was interesting

For 2020 - it said I had an underpayment of 800+ euro

For 2021 - it said I had an overpayment of 1000+ euro

Nothing has really changed in my finances in the last few years, but my wife was made redundant in 2020 and was on the PUP.

So, I am unsure how to proceed.

Do i just request both and see how it goes?

Depending if you both are on Join assessment, Separate assessment or Separate treatment with Revenue: https://www.revenue.ie/en/life-events-and-personal-circumstances/marital-status/marriage-and-civil-partnerships/joint-assessment.aspx#:~:text=Joint%20assessment%20is%20the%20option,or%20in%20a%20civil%20partnership.

You should both do tax declaration and see what the result is. If you are on a joint, your partner's tax will affect yours too, and vice versa.
