Free Standing Gas Cooker LPG

    Is there a limited choice of straight LPG free standing gas cookers these days.

    It's narrows down even more when you want a 60cm white seems to be only a Normende and none at all with a count down timer.

    Or is it easy to get the LPG convertible ones with the kits changed over or a gas Engineer think l read somewhere there's a law that you have to now as well.

    Most natural gas freestanders have the LPG jets in a bag with the manuals. I'm sure there are exceptions.

    Hi Sly,

    Sorry for the late response, l know it wasn't until September you posted but l wasn't looking ...

    Unfortunately in the end my mother where the cooker was planned for passed away in June.

    However l did read in places that it was illegal and could understand that it might not be deemed safe if l just disconnected the old one and put in the new one.

    It might be that the shop would want it too or else there's some diy it etc.

    In the end we didn't go ahead and the house still needs a new lpg gas cooker in time if someone lives there down the road.
