    Took me years to realise.


    That time Jack stood up to meet the Asgard in charge of the planet, then instantly to meet the entire high council of the Asgard. There was no time. Daniel or Amanda would have diplomatic. Jack was straight to the point and got the answer straight away.

    Whole episode played out as such..
