Hi All

A friend of mine is fleeing from Kyiv Ukraine, She is now taking break in Germany and trying to make up her mind on weather to stay in Germany or flee to Ireland. With no local language it is pretty much living on a social welfare in Germany

She has 10 years experience in landscape design. English is fluent.

How difficult is to get job in Gardening sector in Ireland at the moment? Say in Garden center or Nursery?

I see loads of vacancies but I wonder how big is the competition?

I was trying to get my garden landscaped a few years, it was next to impossible to get anyone to give me a quote never mind actually do the work, so I’d say she would have no problem getting work

She will be granted refugee status in Ireland, at this point I have not heard anything about them being granted a right to work. So finding that out would be your starting point.
