I'm a bit surprised that we haven't gone for Ryan and Henderson at lock with Beirne at blindside flanker. The loss of Porter is huge as I think he's a genuine world class player. We'll miss the extra bit of power that he brings.

Glad to see Doris at 8 again though. He's a brilliant player and one who always makes a contribution whenever he's on the ball. Give him the chance to carry slightly further out and he'll make hay.

Overall, it's still a good side albeit one that lacks the dynamism of the side that swept the Autumn Internationals.

Maybe it's just me but I'd prefer to see itoje playing. I think to know where this team is they have to play the best teams.

However that would obviously change if Wales beat France tonight and the championship is back in play.

I don't think it can be understated how big a loss Porter is. He is extremely aggressive in the tackle/clean out/carry yet at the sametime incredibly disciplined and accurate. He also pulls off the ridiculous hair reasonably well, he is the player Joe Marler thinks himself to be.

She’s a far sight better than Daire OBrien. But the panel on TV3 give such better insight and analysis than RTE. There is no comparison these days. Joe Molloy does his research.

I can never get into the anthems at a game in Twickenham as much as other venues, almost exclusively because of their infatuation with getting solo operatic types to lead the singing. I find that it loses the event a lot of cred.
