So my local Tesco and Supervalu (Limerick) no longer have any Crisp 'n' Dry vegetable oil, and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen the same? I've emailed the manufacturer to find out more.

Looks like they've stopped distributing it in Ireland, according to their customer service.

So if anyone can recommend a good neutral deepfrying oil that doesn't go gummy, I'm all ears.

They use Rapeseed Oil in the version I saw in Tesco

I couldn’t get it in Tesco in Clonmel but a friend got it in Tesco in Cashel. When you’re used to one tried and trusted brand, it’s hard to change. My friend uses Flora and swears by it.
