Percolation area into neighbour land

Hi, I’m opening after school in my own home. I need to get new percolation area, our neighbour agreed we can put into his land. Do we need notarised agreement or just with witnesses will do? Thanks

Just to point out that you wont get any legal advice in this forum or indeed any forum on Boards. I will comment on the percolation area though. You will require planning permission for that and to be honest it may be difficult to get.

Council is fine with that. I applied already and had a meeting with senior planner and only issue he had a septic tank and percolation test and I got test done. Just looking advice about written agreement with landowner.

That being the case then you need to go to your solicitor and have it tied up legally ie. Have an easement registered on the neighbour's property. That will protect you in the future.
