What do you do after work on a Friday?

Contemplating a dry Match here and it feels so wrong to do nothing after work ends in an hour. All of my hobbies are inside the home, and all of my friends have plans anyway.

What do you be at after work?

I shall go home to my second job - two girls under the age of 2. There is no 'after work', it's all work all the time!!

Drinking the tears of my enemies.

Training. Stuff with the kids. Cooking.

Depends on the Friday. Once a month I have a big Weekend House Party for myself and many friends. So on that particular Friday evening I am working like a demon to prepare for Saturday. That will be next Friday - house party Saturday to coincide with the Rugby.

Generally go for a heap of pints. But taking it handy this week and next because I've so much on on Paddys Week and then a wedding two weeks after that.

Normally more work... typically do overtime on a Friday and go straight home to bed afterwards

I haven't been a wagie since 2019. I endured tremendous anxiety during the work week so on the weekend I could do nothing more than sit down. Society tells us that working improves your life. Give me a break, it makes it not worth living.

That's an extremely one eyed way to look at life. Everyone has had at least one shitty job in their life, doesn't make all jobs shitty.

I order takeaway and once all the kids are fed and watered, I open a bottle of wine and get a good play list, have a disco / karaoke for 1 in my kitchen and I love it.... even the kids know I'm on a DND Friday nights.
