Flaky paint on inside

    Hi All,

I have an early 1980s bungalow and i have noticed in the last 6 months that the paint around the back door in the ravine is starting to blister, like damp, the paint is crispy.

This is a new issue to me and it has only started in the last few months. The door is standard PVC and there does not seem to be any wet patches on the wall or floor.

Who would be best to get and investigate this sort of thing, is it a structural engineer or a builder?

    thank you.

    Nialls

Get out the kango and knock off the plaster to bare block. Fire up the mixer and mix some stuff and get it plastered in the new.

Ignoring the escapee from After Hours above, can you take photos of this ravine and the blistering paint and upload them here?
