Is it possible Queen Elizabeth the Second has died?

She hasnt been seen for days now that she has Covid.

She hasnt been on web broadcasts for days.

We have the invasion of the Ukraine.

Usually when a Leader or Sovereign dies it trigger a shift of power in the world. (e.g. Tsar Nicholas II, Grand Arch Duke Ferdinand etc)

Is it possible Queen Elizabeth has passed away and in the confusion the London Government has issued a D-Notice on it?

There's too much bad news to hide in the UK to keep quiet if she had died.

If she dies then BBC will stop showing comedies for a week, and political discussion will be stifled so they can dump all the bad news ahead of the local elections in May. Pay attention to the 9/10 o'clock news on the Friday after her death is announced, it's the time for news announcements that are too late for weekend papers and by Monday it's old news.

Boris would LOVE to be the Prime Minister on all the historical footage of the funeral. Given the investigations against him he could easily be gone in a month. I'd say they are keeping him away from her in case he slips her something.

Charles will get nearly everything. Crown Estate becomes his to use; the personal stuff (some of the smaller palaces, the paintings, the horses, the cash) is hers to will out but will almost definitely go to him too.

You'll have heard and seen dramatised the famous line "the King is Dead, long live the King".

In 'The King's Speech', King George V dies in his bed and the very first thing the widowed Queen Mary does is turn to her eldest son David, King Edward VIII, and kneel and profess loyalty.

When a British monarch dies, the only thing of consequence is immediate and unbroken continuity in the eyes of the people and the World. That's all the monarchy really has.

And so, when QEII dies, which as a woman of 96 she soon will, it'll be publicised as soon as possible on that day after the Government has been informed, or if overnight then on early morning media, again once the Government have been made aware.

She's not dead yet, but she's probably not in great nick after her widowhood and stints of ill-health, so it's probably not too far away.

There is no way it would be kept secret because of a war the UK isn't even a part of.
