Watch 7 not as bright as watch 2

Recently upgraded to a watch 7 from a 2, I thought the brightness in the 7 was poor so did a comparison with both on full brightness, see attached, anything I can do to increase it?

I would imagine it should be brighter. Check with the flashlight and if you have any leakage.

Could always just ring support. If your not happy just send it back and get it replaced under the 14 day rule. You pay enough for them. I done this twice so far. iPhone and watch.
