    cost per gallon = 7.65


    Cost per mile then 0.14 euro.

    First off, your input figures are not good; and then your maths is absolutely bonkers. 55mpg is not typical, petrol is more like 1.80 a litre, 23c a unit for electricity is high and doesn't account for night rate.

    But the maths... jaysus, where to start.

    55mpg at 1.70 a litres - €7.73 a gallon - would be 14c a mile. Not a fraction of 1c as you have somehow got.

    I'd expect they deleted it when the maths error was pointed out. Its quoted in my earlier post.
