Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

    Going to be replacing my ground sourced heat pump soon. Wondering what KW i will use per day if it is working right (current one is not healthy).

    We could perhaps have a standard format post on the thread;

    House size (metres or Sq feet)

    BER Rating

    UFH or radiators

    Pump type - air or ground

    Pump Size

    pump model

    Daily KW usage

    Daily cost/electricity provider or plan

    😎

    We're also looking to replace our clapped out GSHP so any real life info would be great. We've upgraded the insulation along with TG windows in our gaff and it's made a huge difference, not quiet new build quality but heat loss over over a 12 hour period of no heat is 1 degree, seeing the stat in the kitchen go from 21c to 20c. Currently using a back up oil boiler to heat the house and dhw but wanna take advantage of the increase SEAI heatpump grant and get a new one. Any suggestions would be gratefully received, currently looking at Heliotherm and Waterfurnace brands.
