Wanted: Mini quality hi-fi w internet radio & bluetooth

As the message say I'm looking for a miniature HIFI system that has built-in internet radio and also bluetooth and ideally other streaming abilities. CD would be nice but not a must.

So far I'm looking at Yamaha MCRN470D or Denon CEOL N10. Philips TAM8905 seems to tick the boxes too functionality wise but don't like the looks too much and would be wary of sound and overall quality with Philips.

Any thoughts on these? What would you recommend? Is there something else I have overlooked?

The N10 has been replaced buy the N11. The N11 is currently priced at 549 Euro

The CRN470 was also excellent but Yamaha have now discontinued it and stock has ran out.

There are very few mini systems around at the moment unfortunately.

Let me know your thoughts and if needed I can come up with some speaker options for you or perhaps you already have a pair?

Once you start to add in internet side of things it does push the price up unfortunately.

i know nothing about speakers. Can you explain the difference between the first cheapest ones and the last more expensive ones please? Would a normal joe soap who knows nothing about sound systems etc notice a difference?

There many be several differences between entry level and more expensive speakers.

The more expensive one will have a better build quality and use different cross overs and internal wiring. The drivers maybe larger and can produce a better range of frequencies all of which add up to better sound quality.

You will notice a difference in sound quality between the different price ranges.

All the speakjers listed above will sound great with the N11 but the higher up the price range the better they will sound.

That's a pity, would have taken that. But got an old stock CEOL N10 instead since I saw the only significant upgrade the N11 had was DAB/DAB+ which never got off the ground in Ireland and is now officially buried.
