    Hi all

never bought a van before, looking for a 2017-2018 reg medium to large van ( L2H1 or L2H2)

There appears to be a few large dealers like Van Monster and others. Any advice on buying from them or any other tips really appreciated.

    cheers

Van monster is ex fleet vans, usually from utility companies, so they will have service history and a few months guarantee. A van is a work tool though so expect some wear and tear. A 17 or 18 van will probably have done about 150k km so keep something in the budget for a potential clutch or gearbox issue.

If you are a private buyer you will have to pay vat too.

Sorry to hijack your thread OP. I'm looking at switching from a car to a van. Is there low mileage commercial van insurance available? I wouldn't be doing more than 20k a year.

@Op Go to dealers Ford, VW, Renault, Peugeot, Opel etc. They sell vans too. Look around for good deals and get what suits you.

    Peace and long life.
