Palladio door draught

Hi all

With the storm blowing a holwer at the moment I've noticed a gale force wind blowing in through the bottom of my palladio door.

Does anyone know how I can increase the compression on the hinge side?

The door is only a year old and the seals are new.

If its only a year old, you should contact whoever you bought the door from to adjust it.

We didn't leave on the best of terms as they botched the installation. Have had them back twice already and would prefer not to contact them again

Oh I see, no worries, stick up a few pics of the door, frame & hinges so we can see what the issue is.

I got a locksmith out for mine and he said he could move the hinges in or out.

Also stormguard draught tape could be good, but make sure not to get it too thick or it can put too much pressure on locks/ hinges

I've adjusted it on the lock side but that didn't really help. Those hinges don't look adjustable in terms of moving the door in and out.

No you're right, they're older butt hinges. I don't think there's a way to adjust the compression with those. You could replace them with something like these that'd allow for 3 way adjustment including compression towards the frame.
