Engineered floor or Laminate...

Hi Folks, Is it just me or has flooring become very expensive.. ( like everything else ) I just want to floor a room 12sqM, small enough, but looks like it'll cost about 350 euro.. Thats a doubling in price from when i remember I could do it for about 12 euro per sq M.

apparently the cost of timber has increased massively over the last couple of years due to Covid and all the issues with shipping and containers etc.
