Replacement 4 pin atx cable for Corsair CX750M psu

Is it possible to buy just the individual cables for a modular psu?

This is my mobo: Z690 UD DDR4 (rev. 1.0) Key Features | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global

And this is my PSU: Corsair CX750M

Any help appreciated. Just bought new mobo / cpu / ram and can't use it as I've lost the 4pin connector. :-(

CX750M only comes with following cables:

• ATX 20+4 pin (hardwired) - 1x
• 4+4 pin EPS12V - 1x
• 6+2 pin PCIe - 2x
• SATA - 2x
• Molex - 2x

So it never had an additional 4-pin EPS12V connector, nor is there anywhere to plug it in.

However it should probably run with only the 4+4 connected as long as you don't go crazy with overclocking/power limits.

Alternatively, pick up a 750W+ PSU with a 10-year warranty for around 100eur: [Geizhals link]

I realised that I hadn't lost a connector - my old mobo has just a 4 pin atx connecter, whereas my new mobo has an 8 + 4 connector.

The 8 pin connector powers the whole thing, I had it (the 8-pin) connected in my old mobo just using the first four pins (onto it's 4 pin socket).

Turns out I mustn't have have the CPU in properly, as took it out, re-sat it, and all has been perfect since.

Posting this in the hopes it helps someone. Some people on the web say you need both the 8 + 4 pin connected - you absolutely do not unless you're running some big overclock.

This is absolutely dangerous advice you're giving. Those cables are for Corsair RM(x) models.

If the cable is not rated for the PSU, do not buy - you risk setting your house on fire.
