Can you apply layers of airtightness tape over an attic that has the rafters insulated with insulation boards and has osb over that?

The attic is insulated and has osb attached to the rafters covering the insulation. Can airtightness tape be applied over the osb for a perfect seal is what I want to know really? Stop any drafts coming through?

how do you dress that around your eaves so that you have an air tight seal?

air tight layers are pointless if it doesnt seal the whole envelope

I wouldn't be sealing that, just the area where the insulation and osb meet the rafters and side joinings to the joists of attic floor.

Air-tightness (also typically a vapour barrier) should be on the warm side of the insulation.
